Biography
Kimberly Myers began her federal service in 2005, as a United States Probation and Pretrial Officer for the Western District of Louisiana, after working for five years for the State of Louisiana as a juvenile probation and parole officer. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honors: summa cum laude and a Master of Arts in Psychology, both from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Kimberly served as a Drug, Alcohol, Mental Health Treatment Specialist for approximately six years, and is now a Supervisory United States Probation Officer. She serves as the Western District of Louisiana’s District Representative for the FPPOA. Kimberly serves as a alumni facilitator for the FJC Treatment Services Seminar, and she served as a panel member for the FJC’s Medication Management discussion session at the FPPOA conference in 2024.
Kimberly also volunteers her services for PPSO Office Review teams, assisting with the Post Conviction Supervision and the Substance Use/Mental Health and Procurement Portions.
Kimbelry is a certified yoga instruction and is passionate about work/life balance and officer wellness.
