Deyanira Loredo, appointed as a USPO in the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division, on December 10, 2007. I promoted to Sentencing Guideline Specialist in March 2020, then SUSPO in July 2020. My sole function, over the course of my federal career, has been in PSI and in the Houston Division. I am the “Training SUSPO” for the PSI Unit in Houston working in developing the future of the Probation Office by coaching and mentoring USPOs new to the PSI.
During my tenure with the United States Probation Office, I was a part of the National Review Team and participated in office reviews led by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts – Probation and Pretrial Services Office (AO-PPSO) across the United States and its territories.
Prior to joining the United States Probation Office, I worked for Harris County, Texas, Community Supervision and Corrections Department where I supervised a caseload of Spanish-speaking, sex offenders for three and one-half years.
I have been a member of FPPOA since June 2008 and have participated in National Training Institutes. As a member of the Education Committee, I hope to further reach officers across the nation to transfer knowledge, skills, and expertise from one generation to another and create new efficiencies to improve our work product, time management, and employee engagement.
