The Federal Probation and Pretrial Officers Association and the Middle District of Florida Probation and Pretrial Offices are proud to announce the 8th National Training Institute (NTI) Champions of Change in Community Corrections, to be held August 20 through 23, 2017, in Championsgate, Florida! We have secured a rate of $91, single or double occupancy, at the host resort, OMNI ORLANDO RESORT AT CHAMPIONSGATE.

The resort offers secluded luxury, yet easy access to area attractions like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. Complimentary scheduled shuttle transportation is provided to the Walt Disney World® Theme Parks. (24-hour advance reservations are required – please see the concierge.) The resort is located just 25 minutes from the Orlando International Airport and 20 minutes from Universal Studios and SeaWorld. In addition to walk-out golf, guests may choose to relax in the signature Mokara spa, dine in one of the seven restaurants or enjoy 15 acres of pools and recreation activities including the 850-foot lazy river.

At the 8th NTI, you will have an opportunity to get a big picture view of community corrections. We have many speakers who are experts in their fields who will provide you information on new trends. Officers from across the nation will converge on the NTI to share their professional expertise, unique experiences, and network. The NTI provides some of the best and most applicable training available for United States Probation and Pretrial Services Officers. We hope to see you in August!

Dress Code

The dress code is resort casual - please, no torn jeans, or tank tops / halters. Capris, clean jeans or shorts and “resort” wear are acceptable. You must wear your name tag at all times during NTI hours to be allowed in sessions. Also, the meeting room may be cold, so please bring a light sweater or jacket with you for the training sessions.
