Michael Patnaude, Northeast Region President

Michael was sworn in as a U.S. Probation Officer in September 1996. He was promoted to Senior U.S. Probation Officer in January 2008. Michael is currently assigned to the supervision unit and supervises an urban caseload and the witness protection caseload. He is also responsible for heading the computer internet monitoring and is the Office Safety Instructor.

Prior to employment with U.S. Probation, Michael was the Executive Director of the Horizon Center halfway house in Albany, NY which housed federal inmates. Prior to this he was employed as a bail bondsman and a county probation officer.

Michael was elected as the Northeast Regional President in January 2005 and currently chairs FPPOA’s Safety Committee.
