Elizabeth "Beth" Thomas, Southeast Region President

Elizabeth "Beth" Thomas was appointed as a Federal Probation Officer in September 1993. She has worked her entire probation career as a presentence writer in the Macon, Georgia office. She is an attorney which has benefited her in the probation field. Beth completed a TDY in the Office of General Counsel at the Administrative Office and teaches a basic Guidelines class at the local law school every year. She clerked at the local U.S. Attorney's Office while in law school and worked as a law clerk for three Superior Court judges after graduation. She has been the Middle District of Georgia FPPOA representative for several years.
