Federal Probation
& Pretrial Officers
Association
General Membership Information
Being a member of our association is the backbone of FPPOA. We are a
membership organization, which means that by joining as a member you are
supporting FPPOA financially. Most of our annual budget is from membership dues.
Also, being a member provides the support of committee work, special projects,
developing publications and research. Our members are the creative drive for
improving our federal court system through cooperative efforts of training and
communication. FPPOA is a professional organization for federal Probation and
Pretrial Services Officers. To be an “active” member of the association you must
be appointed by a federal district court as a Probation or Pretrial Services
Officer (or Officer Assistant).
Members of FPPOA can assist in furthering the goals of the association at the
district, regional or national level. We encourage every district to have a
district representative. If you are not involved, get involved today.
